Starting small with the Room of Awakening and later moving on to the entire area, the project truly is a huge accomplishment, even in the world of stellar Minecraft builds. They noted that the build was, “longer, harder and more painful than first thought”. They had initially expected to finish the project on June 15 but the overall scale of the project ended up taking Grazzy over a month longer to complete. ![]() Surprisingly enough this build was a side project for the creator who is currently working on creating the entirety of Breath of the Wild’s world in Minecraft too. Thanks to Grazzy’s countless hours of work we now also get to see what this might look like. What better way to mark the success of a major game than by immortalizing its world in blocky form via Minecraft? YouTube content creator Grazzy noted that after completing Tear of the Kingdom they were “instantly wondering what the Great Sky Island would look like in Minecraft”. While players’ love for the latest entry in the Zelda series knows no bounds, one fan has taken it upon themselves to recreate the Great Sky Islands in Minecraft. Tears of the Kingdom is one of the biggest games of the year and will likely be one of the biggest games for the foreseeable future.
